Civil Engineer - Water and Sanitation

Our client is seeking a diligent Civil Engineer with a focus on water and sanitation infrastructure to join their team in Upington . This role is essential for the design, development, and implementation of critical water supply, wastewater treatment, and sewerage systems that serve the community. You will be involved in all stages of project life cycles, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to construction oversight and operational support.

The position requires a solid understanding of water and wastewater engineering principles and a commitment to ensuring the provision of safe and reliable utility services.

• Design and plan water supply networks, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling for water distribution and sewerage systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents for water and sanitation projects.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies for new infrastructure development.
• Provide technical supervision during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in water and sanitation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration or eligibility is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and environmental engineering principles.
