Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to enhance operational workflows within their facility in Cape Town . This role is crucial for streamlining manufacturing operations, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring product quality meets stringent standards. You will work closely with production teams and management to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive efficiency gains. • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Develop and implement new process technologies and methodologies to meet production goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams on new product introductions and process validation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the production facility.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of process design, optimization techniques, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
