Traffic Engineer

• Plan, design and develop traffic and transportation engineering solutions
• Conduct traffic impact assessments, traffic studies and analysis
• Develop and review traffic models, reports and technical documentation
• Design roadway, intersection and traffic management solutions
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and design reports
• Liaise with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary project teams
• Provide technical input throughout the planning, design and implementation phases
• Assist with project coordination and ensure deliverables meet required standards

• Manage assigned traffic engineering tasks and deliverables
• Perform traffic analysis, capacity assessments and intersection evaluations
• Develop practical and cost-effective traffic solutions
• Review designs and technical documentation for quality and compliance
• Support senior engineers and project managers on larger projects
• Attend client and project meetings as required
• Ensure work complies with relevant engineering standards, guidelines and legislation
• Contribute to project timelines, budgets and quality objectives
• Minimum 35 years experience in traffic and transportation engineering

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering
• Valid drivers license
