Project Chemical Engineer

Our client is seeking a competent Project Chemical Engineer to manage and execute chemical engineering projects from conception to completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. You will work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. • Lead the planning, design, and execution of chemical engineering projects.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and manage resources effectively.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and operations teams.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the chemical industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with P&IDs, equipment specification, and process design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, suitable for a hybrid work model.
