2nd engineer

Vessel Type: FWP / Non-DP AHTS

We are looking for a qualified and experienced 2nd Engineer to join an FWP / Non-DP Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. The successful candidate will assist in managing the vessel's engine room operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of all machinery and technical systems onboard.

• Assist the Chief Engineer with the maintenance and operation of engine room machinery and equipment.
• Monitor, inspect, and maintain engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and technical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maritime standards.
• Maintain accurate engine room logs, maintenance records, and technical reports.
• Support safe vessel operations during offshore activities and anchor-handling operations.
• Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and report technical issues promptly.

• Relevant marine engineering qualifications and certification.
• Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on offshore vessels, preferably AHTS vessels.
• Valid BOSIET certificate

• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of engine room safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to offshore operations.

• Rotation: Regular rotation
• Certification: Valid BOSIET required
• Salary/Rate: Negotiable
