Assistant Cruise Director

Responsibilities:

• - Assist the Cruise Director in planning and executing a variety of onboard activities and events, including games, shows, and theme nights On Board Cruise Ship
• - Coordinate with various departments to ensure that all activities and events run smoothly
• - Host and emcee events, and engage with guests to create a fun and energetic atmosphere
• - Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for onboard activities
• - Conduct safety briefings and assist with emergency procedures as needed
• - Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• - Collaborate with the entertainment team to create and implement new and innovative activities and events
• - Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and budget management
• - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to the onboard experience

• - Previous experience in a customer service or entertainment role, preferably in the cruise industry
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• - Proven ability to engage and entertain a large audience
• - Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• - High school diploma or equivalent, college degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
• - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
