The primary objective of this role is to oversee the financial operations of an organization, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial reporting.

This includes reconciliations, sales / expense reports, and managing stock and inventory levels.

Analyzing product profitability and margins requires a deep understanding of costing models, ingredient costs, imports, and currency fluctuations.

Monthly and quarterly cost analysis and variance reports are essential for informing strategic decisions.

Providing insights into store-level profitability and operational performance enables data-driven decision-making.

Delivering ad-hoc financial analysis supports business growth and development.

Key skills include strong knowledge of financial regulations, minimum 35 years experience in financial management, preferably in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage, expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, advanced Excel skills, and ERP systems experience.

Familiarity with POS-integrated stock systems is advantageous.

A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, and a professional certification (CIMA, SAIPA, SAICA) is preferred.
