Group Financial Accountant; FN

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Processing:
  Process financial transactions and prepare management reports.
• Debtors Management:
  Create invoices, send statements, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Payments:
  Prepare payments and distribute proof of payments.
• Finance Administration:
  Manage the finance mailbox and financial records.
• Asset Management:
  Maintain the fixed asset register.
• VAT & Tax:
  Prepare monthly VAT returns and reconciliations.
• Intercompany Reconciliations:
  Reconcile intercompany balances at month-end.
• Audit Support:
  Assist with internal and external audits.
• Reporting & Analysis:
  Report financial discrepancies and support financial reporting.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (Compulsory).
• SAIPA/SAICA qualification advantageous.
• 2–4 years financial experience OR completed SAIPA/SAICA articles (Compulsory).
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Pastel & Xero).
