POSITION :
Mid-level Accountant/ Financial Manager

LOCATION: Cape Town

To manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic support to management through accurate reporting and analysis.

• Financial reporting:
  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budget management:
  Develop, monitor, and analyse budgets to support business objectives.
• Cash flow management:
  Oversee daily cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Tax compliance:
  Ensure adherence to tax regulations and timely submission of returns.
• Audit support:
  Liaise with external auditors and ensure internal controls are effective.
• Team supervision:
  Guide junior accountants and finance staff, fostering professional growth.
• Financial analysis:
  Provide insights into cost control, profitability, and investment opportunities.

• Accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP knowledge).
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Leadership and ability to manage a small team.

• Professional certification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) will be an advantage but not essential.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
• Experience in corporate finance or medium-sized business env ironments.
