We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to lead the finance function across a hotel, guesthouse, and restaurant operations. This is a in-person role, combining hands-on day-to-day financial management with strategic input, and will play a key part in the Group's continued growth and profitability. The successful candidate will work closely with ownership/senior management and take full ownership of the finance function across all business units.

• Oversee all financial operations across the hotel, guesthouse, and restaurant
• Manage monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting for each business unit
• Oversee payroll, creditors, debtors, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements
• Manage; mentor, and develop the finance team
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders
• Monitor stock control, cost of sales, and F&B margins
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls across the Group

• Partner with ownership/senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Identify cost efficiencies and revenue-enhancing opportunities across the Group
• Support capital expenditure planning and investment appraisal
• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and controls
• Prepare board-level reporting and business performance analysis
• Contribute to overall business strategy as a key member of the leadership team

• CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification - essential
• 5–15 years' experience in a Group Financial Manager role
• Experience with in hospitality finance - strongly advantageous
• Proven ability to operate at both an operational and strategic level
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a finance team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with ownership/senior management
• High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Xero Certification - advantageous
• PMS/POS - Semper experience- advantageous

• Salary: R55,000-R65,000 per month
