What you’ll doThe primary function of the AML Enhanced Due Diligence Specialist is to maintain the prescribed AML and KYC compliance ensuring AML Spin endeavours to understand the volume and source of wealth of their clients, their clients, third party suppliers, affiliates and partners of the group which includes review of Source of Wealth documentation received from customers. You will be required to work within the KYC and AML compliance guidelines and exercise independent judgment.
The role requires an individual who has immense attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Full and accurate assessments of all Spin customers which will include:
- A review of all account information across various internal software applications
- A review of all information available via open source information
- A review of financial documentation
- Compilation of case information in accordance with an outlined format.
- Liaise with the MLRO’s and/or exercise judgement around findings to determine the depth of information required to satisfy AML requirements.
- Exercise restriction, withholding or release of certain transactions when required to do so (via instruction or decision, as per guidelines set by our MLRO’s).
- Process more complex KYC cases including high risk clients.
- Complete reviews on potential matches for sanctioned individuals, politically exposed persons, adverse media and enhanced due diligence cases.
- Support the effective resolution of identified KYC deficiencies.
- Ensure that all Compliance and AML standards are met and maintained in accordance with policies.
- Record and report details of customers in line with audit requirements.
- Ad-hoc duties may be required from time to time.

- 2 years’ experience in a Risk & Fraud environment
- Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
