About the Role
Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Specialist to join their growing team in Cape Town . This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes. You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support investment decisions. This position offers a unique blend of remote flexibility and collaborative office-based work, allowing for focused individual analysis and team-based strategy sessions.
The ideal candidate is passionate about real estate finance and possesses a keen eye for value and potential in the property market.
- Source and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including ROI calculations, cash flow projections, and risk assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies for new developments and acquisitions in Cape Town.
- Prepare investment memorandums and present findings and recommendations to the investment committee.
- Manage the due diligence process, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical advisors.
- Monitor existing investments and report on performance against strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
- Knowledge of the Cape Town property market and investment landscape.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
