Job Description:
Review and authorise supplier, operational and ad hoc payments
Verify banking details, payment amounts, supporting documentation and approvals
Ensure payments comply with internal controls and approval frameworks
Investigate payment discrepancies, rejections, reversals and unmatched transactions
Identify and escalation unusual or high-risk transactions
Support month-end payment cut-offs and accrual processes
Assist with improving payment processes, controls and workflows
Skills & Experience:- Minimum 35 years experience in payments, banking, creditors or finance operations
- Experience with banking platforms and payment authorisation controls
- Strong understanding of financial controls and payment governance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Experience with in retail, FMCG, shared services or high-volume payment environments would be advantageous
- Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping or a related field.
