Authoriser

• Review and authorise supplier, creditor and operational payments
• Ensure all payments comply with internal controls, policies and approval frameworks
• Verify supporting documentation before releasing payments
• Monitor payment workflows and ensure deadlines are met
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and exceptions
• Maintain accurate records of authorised transactions
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding payment queries
• Support cash flow and treasury-related functions
• Assist with audit requirements and compliance reviews
• Ensure adherence to financial governance and risk management procedures

• Minimum 5 years of payment authorisation experience
• Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements
• Experience working with high-volume payment transactions
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working on ERP or accounting systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Matric (Essential)
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field advantageous
