- Take ownership of the month-end process, including journals, reconciliations, and management accounts
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs for management
- Manage and forecast cash flow requirements, ensuring operational funding requirements are proactively planned
- Oversee debtors and creditors functions, ensuring the impact on cash flow and working capital is properly managed
- Analyse working capital movements and provide meaningful recommendations to improve cash management
- Prepare and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and profitability projections
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide detailed variance analysis
- Manage daily banking activities, cashbook control, and treasury-related processes
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to junior finance staff where required
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies within the finance department
- 5+ years of strong all-round accounting experience within a commercial environment
- Experience managing cash flow, working capital and forecasting
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and profitability reporting
- Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience with in manufacturing, FMCG, production, distribution environments advantageous
- BCom Accounting or Equivalent
