Introduction
The Town Planning Specialist will be responsible for leading and managing all town planning, land-use, zoning, and statutory approval processes across the organisation’s development portfolio.

Land Acquisition Support
Environmental & Regulatory Interface
Stakeholder & Authority Engagement
Internal Advisory & Project Support
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Town and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or equivalent.
Professional registration with SACPLAN (or eligibility to register) is essential.
Additional exposure to environmental legislation or land economics is advantageous.
5–10+ years’ experience in town planning (private sector, consultancy, or in-house).
Proven experience managing:
Rezoning and land-use applications
Municipal and provincial planning approvals
Experience supporting land acquisition and development projects.
Exposure to environmental authorisations and integrated permitting processes.
Experience in infrastructure, energy, or large-scale development projects is advantageous.
