Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Practice Administrator for the Order Processing Oncology offsite Haemalife based in Cape town.
Primary purpose of the job
- Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good pharmacy practise) regulations
- Administrative Liaison between Medipost and Haemalife
- Status management:
- Track and communicate the status of claims and deliveries from dispatch to delivery confirmations.
- Interpret status for Haemalife clinical staff
- Manage stat 20 rejections
- Address/Alternative address. Adding or removal of alternative addresses or any additional instruction from the patient/practice.
- RIP patients. Remove all dates & templates, log collections for items to be returned, close profiles.
- Access & interpret patient profiles & action diaries for Haemalife staff on request.
- Request reroutes or RTS if and as needed
- Handle or direct patient delivery queries where appropriate
- Stock issues:
- Short dated stock, confirm, add action diary and alert production.
- Out of stock, inform patient/practice, updates system with alternative instruction
- Patient specific orders
- Lenalidomide, Thalidomide and Pomalidomide orders
- Identify & follow up on outstanding patient payments
- Request Tax invoices for GAP cover patients
- Handle or direct patient account queries where appropriate
- Credit returns management:
- Correctly logging pick-up
- Ensuring unused stock is returned for credit.
- Administrator status rejections
- Booking list management before placing order with Medipost
- Attend to queries and follow up request directed at the practice
- INV’s
Compliance with SLA requirements and timelines

Minimum requirements *
Grade 12
TRAINING
REQUIRED:
Medipost APP system training.
SLA training.
Departmental manual training.
Company policies and procedures
Training on company systems (e.g., ESS)
