Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse, Chemotherapy Qualified, to join a specialised Chemotherapy Unit within a leading private hospital environment. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care, supervising junior staff, and ensuring compliance with all professional and ethical standards governing nursing practice.
This role requires a clinically strong and emotionally resilient professional who can manage complex oncology cases, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and contribute to a patient-centred environment focused on continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do- Deliver and supervise comprehensive chemotherapy nursing care in accordance with SANC regulations and ethical codes
- Apply the scientific nursing process to develop and manage individualised care plans
- Coordinate and oversee the activities of healthcare team members providing basic patient care
- Enhance patient satisfaction through continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in managing and resolving patient and multidisciplinary team complaints
- Contribute to maintaining a physically and emotionally safe environment, including infection control and SHEQ compliance
- Support cost-effective care through responsible stock management, case management, and billing compliance
- Mentor and coach unit staff, contributing to performance management and in-service training initiatives
- General Nursing Degree or Diploma
- Registration with SANC
- Postgraduate qualification in Oncology/Chemotherapy Nursing, recognised by SANC
- Relevant clinical experience within a chemotherapy or oncology environment
- Strong understanding of professional accountability and ethical nursing practice
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound problem-solving, analytical, and judgement skills
- Computer proficiency and understanding of the private healthcare sector advantageous
- Consistently high standards of clinical and ethical practice
- Positive patient experience and improved satisfaction outcomes
- Strong collaboration within the multidisciplinary team
- Effective supervision and development of junior staff
- Compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
