Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse, Chemotherapy Qualified, to join a specialised Chemotherapy Unit within a leading private hospital environment. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care, supervising junior staff, and ensuring compliance with all professional and ethical standards governing nursing practice.

This role requires a clinically strong and emotionally resilient professional who can manage complex oncology cases, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and contribute to a patient-centred environment focused on continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver and supervise comprehensive chemotherapy nursing care in accordance with SANC regulations and ethical codes
  • Apply the scientific nursing process to develop and manage individualised care plans
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of healthcare team members providing basic patient care
  • Enhance patient satisfaction through continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist in managing and resolving patient and multidisciplinary team complaints
  • Contribute to maintaining a physically and emotionally safe environment, including infection control and SHEQ compliance
  • Support cost-effective care through responsible stock management, case management, and billing compliance
  • Mentor and coach unit staff, contributing to performance management and in-service training initiatives
What You Bring
  • General Nursing Degree or Diploma
  • Registration with SANC
  • Postgraduate qualification in Oncology/Chemotherapy Nursing, recognised by SANC
  • Relevant clinical experience within a chemotherapy or oncology environment
  • Strong understanding of professional accountability and ethical nursing practice
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound problem-solving, analytical, and judgement skills
  • Computer proficiency and understanding of the private healthcare sector advantageous
