Enrolled Nurses

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Enrolled Nurse based in Cape Town, PE, Umtata.

The Enrolled Nurse will carry out a range of clinical duties such as administering medication, monitoring patients' conditions, and assisting with medical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional. Phlebotomy experience is needed. Drivers Licence is essential.

• Phlebotomy/Venepuncture technique experienced
• Familiar with lab specimen collection, specimen labelling and specimen transportation and storage for collection (if collected by driver)
• Patient identification protocols
• Proven skills in patient care, medication administration, and clinical procedures
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in using medical equipment
• National Diploma in Nursing and valid Enrolled Nurse/Registered Nurse registration with the relevant nursing council
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is an advantage
