CLINICAL FACILITATOR Cape Town
We are looking for a Clinical Facilitator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate competencies of healthcare professionals
- Provide support and guidance to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with nursing managers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Commute to various health facilities
- Nursing staff orientation and induction at hospital facilities
- Assist with disciplinary issues
- Interact with Heads of Nursing, CEOs, mentors, and other staff at the health facilities
- Play supportive role to nursing staff
- Continuous feedback to Employer and hospital staff
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing license
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous experience as a Clinical Facilitator
- Drivers license and must have own reliable vehicle (Reimburse travel cost at prescribed rate)
- Must be prepared to travel throughout the Western Cape
- Excellent knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education
- Master's degree in a clinical specialty
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse
General:
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of the subject field in any nursing discipline.
- Computer literacy in MS Office, email, and internet.
- Ability to generate accredited research outputs.
- Good interpersonal relations and a client-service orientation.
- Ability to be self-driven.
- Good time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Good planning and organizing skills as well as good report writing skills.
- A high level of professional and ethical conduct.
