Authorization process

• Auth clerk must manage and coordinate the SAOC/E-auth form and direct it to various departments
• Auth clerk must send the completed SAOC/E-auth forms to the Medical aid
• Auth clerk must follow up on the process
• Check received authorization prior to start of treatment
• Responsible for re-auths or/and adjustments
• Upkeep of stats
• Upkeep of recorded data
• Prompt and accurate process
• Minimal delays for excellent private patient care
• Availability of recorded documents when needed as proof
• Smooth workflow

Patient care and rendering of a quality service

• Assist with telephonic queries
• Feedback to multi-disciplinary team regarding auth process
• Hands-on problem solving and assistance with any queries
