About this role in the teamAs a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and comprehensive external documentation for our APIs. Your work will empower developers to integrate and use our payment solutions efficiently. You will collaborate closely with product managers, solutions managers, developers, and customer success teams to ensure documentation aligns with client needs and reflects the latest product updates.

Key Areas of Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high‑quality external documentation for our APIs, including user and integration guides, FAQs, and tutorials.
- Test APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar to ensure accurate and practical documentation.
- Collaborate with solutions, development, product, or cross‑functional teams to gather technical information and understand new features.
- Participate in product launches involving API changes.
- Create visuals, diagrams, and examples to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve documentation continuously.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in API documentation and payments technology.
- A minimum of four years of industry experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in a language (Technical Communication, English) or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent technical knowledge/experience.
- Experience with docs‑as‑code workflows, including authoring in Markdown, collaborating through Git Hub, and working with static‑site generators.
- Proficiency in writing API documentation using the OpenAPI/Swagger specification.
- Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar.
- Familiarity with API standards (REST, OpenAPI) and payment systems (crypto and fiat).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Scripting skills for testing APIs.
- Experience with maintaining content on developer portals.
