SAP Database / System Administrator (Contract)

🕒 Contract Role | 8+ Years’ Experience
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Database / System Administrator for a contract assignment within a large enterprise SAP environment. This role is fully onsite in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP system and database administration across the SAP landscape
- SAP installations, upgrades, patches, and system migrations
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity planning
- Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery management
- Troubleshooting SAP Basis and database-related issues
- Working closely with functional and technical SAP teams
- Ensuring system security, stability, and compliance
- 8+ years hands-on experience as an SAP Database/System Administrator
- Strong SAP Basis administration experience
- Solid experience with SAP HANA (Oracle/DB2 an advantage)
- Linux/Unix system administration experience
- Proven troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Ability to work onsite in Cape Town for the duration of the contract
- Long-term contract opportunity
