Waters Edge Solutions is seeking a confident, experienced Scrum Master to guide high-performing teams within a rapidly evolving Pay Tech environment. This is an opportunity to work onsite 4 days per week with our client in Rondebosch, Cape Town, bringing structure, clarity, and agility to product delivery while helping teams unlock their full potential.

About the Role

You’ll play a central role in driving Agile best practices across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and product strategy. As a key enabler of collaboration and velocity, you’ll be the bridge between technical and business stakeholders,
championing continuous improvement and value delivery. This is a dynamic, on-site position (4 days per week in office), ideal for a proactive Scrum Master who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Guide teams in applying Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous delivery
• Remove blockers and ensure smooth sprint execution
• Foster collaboration between developers, product owners, and stakeholders
• Track team performance and report on delivery metrics
• Support change management and coach teams through Agile maturity

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills
• Deep familiarity with software development life cycles and tooling
• Confident, calm, and solutions-oriented under pressure

Nice to Have

• Experience with in the Pay Tech or broader financial services industry
• Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.)
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
