BI Developer

Job Description

A well established company in Cape Town are looking for a passionate BI Developer to join their team!

Responsibilities will include:

Key Roles:

• Design solutions from business specifications

• Construct and implement BI solutions

• Develop BI/Spatial dashboards, reports and stories

• Ensure documentation of solutions

• Design BI Prototypes

• Coordinate solution plans with the development team or client

• Adhere to WCG system development life cycle (SDLC) and Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes

• Guide and assist other developers

• Mature the application development processes and BI solution quality

Requirements:

4+ years Microsoft BI Development experience

• Technical

Skills required:

• BI Stack (SQL, SSIS,SSRS,SSAS)

• SQL Server 2010 upwards

• Exposure to PowerBI

• Visual Studio

• Data Warehousing experience
