As a Senior Data Analyst at Coin Flip, you will provide stakeholders with insights and opportunities to drive revenue growth, report on key performance indicators, and identify ways to streamline data‑related processes. You will be responsible for working cross‑departmentally to collect business questions/challenges and design tests or solutions which translate data into accurate and actionable recommendations. This is a role with high visibility and potential for growth, reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Insights, and will regularly collaborate with upper management across the company to advance data‑driven decision making.

• Meet with internal stakeholders across various departments (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales, etc.) to address key business questions and problems.
• Collect, reality‑check, and analyze data to address stakeholders’ key business questions.
• Interpret findings and present actionable insights, solutions, or recommendations while driving the implementation/adoption of them.
• Ensure the company‑wide KPI dashboard is updated and accurate as well as identify new metrics to be added.
• Identify areas of improvement for automating data collection, ingestion, and analysis.
• Be a self‑starter with a proactive mindset of measuring and optimizing the way we operate the business.
• Understand how to design tests/experiments in a way where the results will be valid and statistically significant to help make data‑driven decisions.

• At least 4–10 years of full‑time work experience in an insights or analytics function.
• Strong business acumen so that the candidate can understand the “Why” and not just the “what” and “how”.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in database relationship querying languages (e.g., MySQL).
• Intermediate to advanced programming skills in one or more high‑level languages (e.g., Python/R) commonly used for statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Tableau proficiency with experience in presenting and explaining technical results to a non‑technical audience.
• Strong analytical/data visualization skills, teamwork, problem solving, communication, project management, leadership, and business acumen.

• Experience working for a rapidly growing startup, and managing change.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, and/or crypto.
• Intermediate‑to‑advanced understanding of general business concepts, and different data sources is a plus.
