Purpose of Role
The IT Change Manager (Intermediate) supports the organisation by ensuring that new systems, processes, and ways of working are adopted smoothly and effectively. The role focuses on guiding teams through change with clarity, structure, and empathy — helping teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and how it impacts their work. By coordinating across stakeholders and applying consistent project and change practices, the Change Manager strengthens organisational readiness, reduces disruption, and contributes to building sustainable, long-term improvements.
Objectives of Role- Lead and manage projects end-to-end – from planning and requirements through execution, monitoring and close‑out, ensuring delivery on time, on scope and on budget.
- Drive the people side of change – plan and implement change management strategies (communication, training, stakeholder engagement, resistance management) to ensure high adoption and sustained use of new processes/systems.
- Act as a central coordination point between leadership, technical teams and end‑users, ensuring alignment on priorities, expectations and timelines.
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across both project delivery and change adoption, and implement mitigation actions.
- Standardise and improve ways of working by applying project and change management frameworks, tools and templates to increase consistency, transparency and learning across initiatives.
Education:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Preferred/Advantageous Qualifications &
Certifications:
- Certification in project or change management
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- PMI CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
- Agile/Scrum Foundation
- PROSCI Change Management certification
Experience:
- 2-5 years working experience in:
- Project coordination or project management
- Change support, communications, training support, process analysis OR operations
- Experience supporting cross‑functional projects
- Experience preparing project documentation, reports, change plans and stakeholder communications
- Exposure to organisational change initiatives
Skills:
- Basic project planning (timelines, RAID logs, scope tracking)
- Documentation and reporting and analysis
- Change impact assessment
- Stakeholder mapping and communication planning
- Meeting/workshop coordination
- Understanding of change adoption and behaviour change basics
Technical
Skills:
- Strong Excel proficiency
- MS Project, Asana, , Trello or similar, Jira, M365 collaboration tools (Exposure required to any of these tools)
- Ability to create slides, dashboards or reports for projects/ stakeholders
- Strong communication (written verbal)
- Planning and organising
- Attention to detail

- Problem‑solving and initiative
- Adaptability
