What you will be doing:

• Monitor and optimize cloud spending and resource allocation.
• Enforce and maintain security best practices to fortify the cloud infrastructure.
• Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
• Design and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
• Continuously track and improve system performance for fast response times and maximum uptime.
• Design, deploy, and refine Azure services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Bridge Dev and Ops using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment/environment management.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and other teams for smooth cloud integration and deployment.

What our client is looking for:

• A relevant degree would be beneficial (Computer Science, IT, etc.).
• Relevant cloud qualifications, especially Azure certifications, are highly desired.
• Solid, focused experience (around 5 years) harnessing a wide array of Azure services.
• Robust understanding of cloud security protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies.
• Must be agile, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, curious, and possess a growth mindset.
• Proven experience in optimising cloud deployments for performance and scalability.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, be action-oriented, and maintain a winning mentality/drive for success
• Track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and high interpersonal skills (EQ).
