We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Technical /Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Senior AWS Cloud Technical/Solutions Architect is a subject matter expert, responsible for designing and may be required to implement AWS cloud-based solutions that meet client’s business and technical requirements.

This role supports and influences operations and sales teams by providing expertise in cloud computing technologies and architectures ensuring the effective design, deployment and operation of our AWS cloud-based systems to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, Dev Ops practices, and infrastructure automation, and will play a key role in driving our cloud strategy and digital transformation initiatives.

This role has the opportunity to design and operate solutions with some of the most innovative global organizations, technologies, accelerating the digital transformation of business objectives and outcomes for both external and internal customers to the business.

• Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Lead cloud architecture and infrastructure design sessions with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, development, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize cloud costs and monitor system performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team of architects and engineers.
• Stay current with AWS services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
• Viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client and ensure technical solutions will accomplish the client's objectives.
• Engage in pre‑sales activities with Sales Teams and clients both internal and external.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is strongly preferred.
• 8 to 12 years of AWS experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as AWS Control Tower, Step Functions, Service Catalog, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch, Code Commit, Code Deploy, Code Build, and ECS/EKS.
• Knowledge of AWS Well‑Architected Framework and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, and or Terraform.
• Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops processes and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience in software development or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture, microservices and event‑driven architecture.
