PBT Group is seeking an experienced Azure Dev Ops Engineer to support delivery teams by designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. The successful candidate will operate in a hybrid cloud environment spanning Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions (planned migration), AWS, Kubernetes, and on-premise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
- Support and contribute to the planned migration from Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub Actions.
- Manage and optimise build, release, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
- Implement infrastructure automation and deployment strategies for AWS, Kubernetes, and on-prem servers.
- Ensure Dev Ops best practices for security, monitoring, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and environment-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to improve delivery efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement of Dev Ops processes, tooling, and patterns.
Core Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops.
- Practical experience or exposure to Git Hub Actions.
- Solid understanding of Dev Ops principles, patterns, and automation practices.
- Experience deploying and supporting workloads in AWS environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes (containerised deployments, orchestration, troubleshooting).
- Experience working with hybrid environments, including on-premise infrastructure.
- Scripting / automation skills (Power Shell, Bash, or similar).
- Ability to work independently in a contract-driven environment.

- Able to work across cloud and traditional infrastructure.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and adaptable to evolving tooling strategies.
