Purpose

We are looking for a High flying Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
Security to take accountability for assisting CISO in planning, organizing, controlling, and management of all of platforms and implementation of the related infrastructure strategy. The role works closely with our technology teams to provide the support necessary to allow for a secure and agile environment with continuous improvement and assessment as well as to manage and develop our cloud infrastructure.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
Security reports to the CISO.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Support the Infrastructure Security team and help define the long-term vision for the organization.
• Own the cross-functional roadmap for Infrastructure Security in partnership with the organization.
• Manage security services in the hybrid environment (AWS and on-premises).
• Work with Network and Infrastructure and Governance Risk and Compliance teams to identify gaps, scope requirements, prioritize and execute key deliverables
• Collaborate to develop secure products, systems, and solutions that serve the business while leveraging industry best practices in data security, cloud security, authentication/authorization, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management
• Keep tabs on the changing business landscape and product roadmap to anticipate potential risks and strategically align future projects
• Develop and manage cloud services and on premises security controls and facilitate the implementation.
• Compile metrics for CISO review.
• Identify areas to implement continuous improvement of security and operational functions to support Information Security Office initiatives.
• Lead security incident response activities in the Cloud.
• Support the Cloud and on-premises security team in achieving established goals and departmental objectives.
• Install, configure, operate, maintain and monitor Clickatell’s messaging engine hardware, software and related infrastructure with a focus on high availability, stability and security.
• Conduct technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure
• Audit and analyse logs and other system data for troubleshooting and identify possible vulnerabilities in the estate
• Ensure network, hardware, operating systems, software applications and any related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, customers and partners
• Technical liaison services with enterprise customers and vendors as required
• Service, maintain, commission and support global platforms, with a view towards high availability and security
• Conduct proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies

Operations and Support

• Build, maintain and continuously improve the security assessment of the Clickatell Estate
• Visualize security posture and drive positive trending to align to security best practices
• Perform Risk Assessments as required and drive action items with the relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment to the business strategies
• Manage and maintain security related technologies such as Firewalls, VPNs and Proxies
• Implement, maintain and improve a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform
• Maintain the Identity and Access Management environment (IAM)
• Provide escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence
• Perform or confirm system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs

Requirements of the Role

• Related IT qualification with specialization in security (preferred)
• 5+ years in an infrastructure security role
• AWS Cloud Technology qualifications or Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM (preferred)

Work experience:

• Cisco ASA Firewall experience (CCNP Security would be an advantage)
• Working with vulnerability scanning software such as Nessus
• Working with AWS Cloud Technologies, including IAM, WAF, ELB, Security
