Senior AWS Cloud Technical​/Solutions Architect

Overview

Senior AWS Cloud Technical/Solutions Architect at NTT DATA to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Design and implement scalable, highly available, fault‑tolerant systems on AWS.
• Lead architecture and infrastructure design sessions with stakeholders to align business requirements.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all deployments.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, development, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize cloud costs and monitor system performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architects and engineers.
• Stay current with AWS services and recommend innovative solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for client engagements and pre‑sales activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 8‑12 years of AWS architecture and engineering experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in AWS services:
  Control Tower, Step Functions, Service Catalog, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch, Code Commit, Code Deploy, Code Build, ECS/EKS.
• Knowledge of AWS Well‑Architected Framework and best practices.
• Experience with IaC tools: AWS Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, Terraform.
• Understanding of networking, security, compliance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with hybrid and AWS cloud environments.
• Programming/scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Knowledge of serverless, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
