Position: UX Designer (Mid Level)

Overview

We are a multidisciplinary digital agency offering UX, UI, development, and marketing services. Our design capability is structured into dedicated UX and UI teams, each with their own areas of expertise.

We are looking for a Mid UX Designer to join our UX team. You will work closely with other UX designers, as well as UI designers, developers, and strategists, to deliver thoughtful, user-centred solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident in core UX practices, enjoys problem-solving, and can independently drive parts of a project while collaborating within a broader cross-functional team

To translate client requirements and business goals into effective, user-centred UX solutions by applying research, analysis, and structured design thinking across the product lifecycle, while collaborating with UI, development, and marketing teams.

Job Purpose

Job Objectives
  • Collaborate with UX team members, UI designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive digital solutions
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, user needs, and project goals
  • Conduct UX audits to identify usability issues and recommend improvements
  • Support and occasionally lead research activities, including market research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Analyse research and translate findings into clear, actionable design insights
  • Define user problems and contribute to solution ideation
  • Create user flows and information architecture diagrams
  • Develop annotated wireframes and prototypes on Figma to communicate design intent clearly to clients, UI and development teams
  • Apply UX best practices to ensure intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences
  • Iterate on wireframes based on feedback from clients, users, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with technical constraints
  • Prepare design deliverables for handoff to UI designers and development teams
  • Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement
Job Related Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and UX methodologies
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g. usability testing, interviews, heuristic evaluations)
  • Understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles
  • Awareness of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
  • Understanding of how UX integrates with UI design, development, and marketing
  • Familiarity with digital product development processes and cross-functional collaboration
  • Basic understanding of analytics and data-informed design
Job Related Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear UX solutions
  • Proficiency in wire framing and prototyping tools (Our main tool = Figma)
  • Ability to create clear, structured UX deliverables (flows, wireframes, annotations)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across UX, UI, development, and marketing teams
  • Ability to facilitate or contribute to workshops and feedback sessions
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a UX design role
  • Proven experience working across the UX lifecycle (discovery to handoff)
  • Experience collaborating with UI designers and developers
  • Experience working with clients or stakeholders in a professional environment
  • Exposure to usability testing and research activities
Education

Relevant qualification in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field
