About

the Role

As an IT Auditor, you’ll support the Group in securing its data and systems from external and internal threats by analysing and assessing the Group’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will ensure systems are secure, efficiently managed, provide accurate data for decision‑making, and remain compliant with relevant policies, regulations and frameworks. You will contribute to a systematic, data‑forward approach to evaluate and improve risk management, controls and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform independent IT risk assessments to identify high‑risk areas that require assurance.
  • Conduct IT audits guided by the risk‑based audit plan to assess data integrity, security, software development and IT governance.
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of application and IT general controls, including compliance testing.
  • Carry out pre‑ and post‑implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.
  • Review IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity, disaster recovery and information security.
  • Perform SDLC and application control reviews to assess reliability, security, efficiency and alignment with development standards.
  • Conduct IT security audits, evaluating security vulnerabilities and mitigation status.
  • Assist management in project assurance to improve efficiency and minimise risk.
  • Review cloud maturity and governance to confirm adherence to policy and best practice.
  • Apply data analytics and automation techniques (Python, SQL, Excel, AI tools) to enhance audit efficiency and enable full population testing.
  • Guide and recommend IT risk management strategies focused on applications, infrastructure and security.
  • Draft internal audit reports that are balanced, objective and supported by evidence to influence key risk management decisions.
  • Engage stakeholders to drive timely remediation of audit findings, identify root causes and support risk‑based solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audit methodologies, tools and processes through innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Tertiary education in Information Systems, Security, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of IT auditing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT auditing requirements, standards and methodology.
  • Good understanding of IT risk and control principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple IT domains including software development, operating systems, database management, information and network security.
  • Experience in identifying vulnerabilities that could compromise the business.
  • Cyber‑security experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Adaptability to fast‑moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation techniques in audit environments.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (Excel advanced functions, Power BI, SQL, Python).
  • Knowledge of sports betting markets, odds calculation, betting types and market trends.
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
  • Experience developing and executing customer retention strategies.
  • Audit software experience.
  • Basic finance and accounting knowledge.
  • ISO certification.
