Senior BI Developer required in Constantia, Cape Town.

Senior Business Intelligence Developer with a relevant Degree, advanced SQL, Power Bi or Qlik skills and minimum 5 years’ BI experience in the Financial Service Sector, required to analyse, design and build BI solutions to enable operations and business strategic goals for an Asset Management Company based in Constantia, Cape Town.

Minimum requirements:

Tertiary qualification required – Information Systems or

B.Sc Degree
Minimum 5 years’ BI Analyst Development experience essential
Advanced SQL experience essential
Experience in either Power Bi or Qlik required
Financial Services experience preferred
MS SQL Server, SSIS experience advantageous
Talend/Snowflake experience advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyse, design and build BI Solutions through the full stack
Solve complex problems in a data driven environment
Elicit and analyse business requirements
Prepare and combine data from multiple sources to create single source of truth
Relational and dimensional data modelling
Analyse and interpret data, build reports to provide business insights and improve processes
Mentor junior team members
