We are building a world-class marketing team to drive growth across B2C and B2B channels, and are now looking for a Digital & SEO Marketing Executive to join our Cape Town office.
Role OverviewThis role will focus on SEO, content optimisation, and website performance
, with responsibility for managing updates in Word Press and coordinating with the internal IT/development team on technical requirements. You will also support CRM/email campaigns and assist with paid media activity.
The right candidate will have at least 3 years’ hands‑on experience in SEO, content optimisation, and website management, with strong Word Press skills and the ability to work closely with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- SEO
- Conduct keyword research and optimise web pages, blogs, and landing pages.
- Monitor rankings, site health, crawl errors, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement on-page SEO updates directly in Word Press
. - Work with IT/development on technical SEO (schema, redirects, site speed, indexing).
- Content Optimisation
- Collaborate with the content executive to brief, edit, and optimise content for SEO.
- Refresh older articles and landing pages to improve performance.
- Website Management (Word Press)
- Publish and update content in Word Press with correct formatting, metadata, and tagging.
- Manage plugins, monitor performance issues, and elevate to IT when required.
- CRM & Marketing Automation
- Build and send campaigns in Hub Spot and Brevo
, integrated with Microsoft Dynamics. - Manage workflows, lists, and segmentation.
- Build and send campaigns in Hub Spot and Brevo
- Paid Media (Support Role)
- Assist with Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
- Optimise landing pages to improve conversion rates.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track organic traffic, rankings, and content engagement.
- Report on KPIs (traffic, CPL, CTR, conversions) using Google Analytics, Hub Spot, and SEO tools.
- Recommend improvements based on data insights.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SEO, digital marketing, and website management.
- Hands‑on Word Press skills (publishing, plugins, on-page SEO).
- Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of content optimisation for organic visibility and conversions.
- Familiarity with technical SEO (schema, redirects, site speed, indexing).
- Experience with Hub Spot plus exposure to Brevo/Dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with ability to build clear reports.
- Excellent English (written and spoken).
- Experience working with IT/development teams on technical site enhancements.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other advanced reporting dashboards.
- Industry experience in property, financial services, or fintech.
- Competitive salary 25-30K ZAR per month.
- Office-based position in Cape Town
, working closely with our South Africa and UK teams. - Ownership of SEO, content optimisation, and Word Press management across multiple brands.
- Hands‑on experience across leading CRM/marketing automation platforms (Hub Spot, Dynamics, Brevo).
- Career progression into SEO Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or Marketing Ops.
