We are looking for an SEO Specialist to own organic search and AI answer engine visibility for a growing portfolio of clients. You will work directly on strategy, technical audits, and content execution, driving non-brand traffic, AI citation presence, and measurable lead generation across client websites.
This is a high-output role. You need to think strategically, write well, and ship content consistently. If you understand both the technical and editorial sides of SEO, can operate independently, and care about results over activity, this role is a strong fit.

- Own the full SEO function for clients — not just execution, but strategy and direction
- Work on content that actually ranks, gets cited by AI platforms, and generates leads
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals
- Identify and resolve issues affecting organic visibility including 404s, 410s, redirect chains, duplicate content, and canonicalization
- Implement and optimize schema markup and structured data for search and AI answer engines
- Audit on-page fundamentals including title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, and page speed
- Prioritize fixes by impact and translate technical findings into clear recommendations
Content Strategy and Production
- Build and manage content calendars targeting non-brand organic keywords and AI-answer queries
- Write or oversee a minimum of 20 publish-ready blog posts per month across client accounts
- Research keyword clusters and map content to search intent and buyer journey stages
- Structure content for AI answer engines with clear headings, direct answers, and scannable formats that earn citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude
- Identify content gaps and prioritize based on traffic potential, competition, and lead-gen value
Answer Engine Optimization
- Develop strategies to get clients cited and recommended in AI-generated responses
- Monitor AI platform presence using tools like Scrunch AI and adjust content strategy accordingly
- Structure pages with clear definitional content, comparison frameworks, and direct-answer formats that AI models surface
- Track citation rates, prompt coverage, and AI recommendation share as part of regular reporting
Reporting and Client Communication
- Report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, AI citation presence, and content performance
- Translate data into clear insights and prioritized next steps, not just numbers
- Communicate progress, blockers, and wins to internal stakeholders and clients
- Proven experience managing SEO for websites that generate organic traffic and leads
- Strong technical SEO skills including the ability to run an audit, identify problems, and know how to fix them
- Demonstrated ability to write or edit SEO content that ranks with a clear understanding of structure, intent, and what makes a page useful
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, and keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent
- Understanding of how AI answer engines work and what it takes to get content cited
- Ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously without losing quality or missing deadlines
- High output with the ability to write 20 or more posts per month while maintaining quality across all of them
- Experience with B2B SaaS, legal, fintech, or startup-adjacent content
- Familiarity with AI visibility tools like Scrunch AI, Profound, or similar platforms
- Experience recovering from a site migration including restoring lost indexation, redirects, and recapturing dead-page demand
- Background in content operations including building workflows, briefing writers, and QA-ing output at scale
- Comfort working directly with founders and client leads
