As a leading fintech company, we are looking to enhance our digital enablement and as part of that we are creating a new team with the organization to manage our documentation. If you’re passionate about translating complex ideas into clear, user-friendly documentation and contributing to cutting-edge financial technology solutions, this is your chance to make an impact. To bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and their end users across all our digital offerings, you will create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for direct-to-merchant offerings, partnerships, and acquirer processing in regions covered by the group.

The goal is to enhance user experiences, drive product adoption and support seamless integrations, ultimately contributing to the organization’s success in delivering innovative solutions.

• Simplify complex technical concepts for external developer audiences, including API references, developer guides, and integration workflows, while tracking utilization and performance and using this data to share with stakeholders and embed and track improvements continuously.
• Participate in product development cycles to ensure documentation aligns with product functionality and updates, maintaining high quality and accuracy throughout our documentation.
• Provide direct or indirect support and guidance around APIs and technical solutions to colleagues, developers, partners & merchants, helping them maximize the value of our products and services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API references, user manuals, developer guides, integration guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting materials.
• Maintain version control for documentation and ensure accuracy during updates or system changes, organizing and structuring the content for intuitive navigation and readability.
• Create and drive efficiencies by developing standardized templates, processes, and best practices for technical documentation and continuously improving through reviews and intervention.
• Take accountability and ownership for day-to-day decision making under your remit, building realistic and achievable solutions aligned with company strategy and market needs.
• Collaborate with the wider team, including product, engineering, and customer support, using interpersonal and negotiating skills to ensure constructive outcomes in all engagements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with developers, partners, merchants, and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor for their e-commerce related needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the digital payments domain.
• Proven ability to write clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with digital payment systems, e-commerce platforms, APIs, and web technologies.
• Proficiency in tools like Markdown, Confluence, Git, and other content management systems.
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Basic understanding of technology stacks (JSON, PHP, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to be a self-starter in a fast‑paced environment.
