Data Center Technician, Data Center Operations – AWS

We are seeking Data Center Technicians to join our Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver for datacenter infrastructure issues such as hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. The role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions.

• Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Handle manual lifting of equipment as required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Engage other solutions groups on more complex problems to drive solutions.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
