HP Printer Presales Engineer

Datacentrix Cape Town is looking for a Presales Engineer specializing in HP Print Solutions
.

The role focuses on delivering efficient, secure, and scalable printing and document solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.

The specialist acts as a technical subject matter expert for Managed Print Solution technologies and tools, while also supporting pre-sales activities and solution design in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Matric / Grade 12 (Compulsory)
• Proven experience working with Managed Print Services (MPS) and print management solutions.
• Experience with Paper Cut solutions (Technical and/or Sales Certification preferred).
• Good understanding of HP printers, multifunction devices, and print management environments.
• Experience with HP solutions such as HP Web Jet Admin, HP Security Manager, HP Smart Device Services (SDS), or similar technologies will be advantageous.
• Exposure to print fleet monitoring and reporting tools.

• Engage with customers to understand their print and document management needs and recommend suitable HP print solutions.
• Design and support Managed Print Service (MPS) solutions tailored to different client environments.
• Assist in demonstrating and positioning print management and document workflow solutions to customers.
• Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of print and document management platforms.
• Work with industry-leading solutions such as Paper Cut, HP Access Control, Printer Logic, and related HP technologies.
• Collaborate with sales teams, technical teams, and customers to deliver effective print and workflow solutions.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on print fleet management, security, monitoring, and reporting solutions.
• Assist customers with solution enhancements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of print-related issues where required.
• Present solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
