Overview

Role within the IT Software Asset Management (SAM) team; supports the management, analysis, and maintenance of software inventory across the organisation.

What You Will Do

Support software licence compliance activities, provide operational support and advice on software asset management, and assist with data analysis, reporting, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

Approximately 2–3 years’ experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, software licensing, or a related IT operations environment
Working knowledge of software licensing agreements, entitlements, terms, and conditions
Experience using IT Asset Management systems, discovery tools, or platforms such as Service Now
Understanding of software licensing models, including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, subscriptions, virtual environments, and cloud-based licensing
Good data management, analysis, reporting, and documentation skills
ITIL Foundation certification would be advantageous
Exposure to Agile or SAFe ways of working would be advantageous
Cloud fundamentals certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent, would be advantageous
Knowledge of cloud licence management would be advantageous
ITIL Foundations V4 Certification would be advantageous
Experience with Service Now SAM Pro would be advantageous
