Systems Analyst, Technical Support, IT QA Tester / Automation
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our growing Software Engineering team as a Business Analyst, working directly with the division lead. You will analyse complex system requirements and design specs to ensure a deep understanding of product intent, and then build, code, and execute robust quality assurance frameworks. This role requires an individual who thrives in a collaborative team ecosystem.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with diverse systems, including core tech platforms, software integrations, and internal workflow tools.
In this role, you will provide crucial support across a variety of quality assurance, technical support, and business analysis projects. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance & Testing (QA):
Leading comprehensive manual and system testing processes for our web platforms and features, identifying bugs, glitches, and user experience flaws. - Requirements Analysis:
Strong ability to dissect complex business logic and UI/UX design requirements, translating them into airtight test cases and technical documentation. - Technical Testing
Skills:
Proven experience with API testing (e.g., Postman), regression testing, integration testing, and cross-browser/mobile web application testing. Mindset:
Hyper-focused on detail, structural quality, and smooth integration during early coding stages to catch bugs before they hit production. - Requirements Mapping & Logic:
Reviewing business requirements and tech specs to understand how features should work, then designing clear test cases to ensure technical alignment. - Bug Tracking & Reporting:
Providing expert oversight for defect logging and tracking processes, ensuring accuracy, clear documentation, and swift resolution with the development team. - Technical Process Optimisation:
Proactively identifying manual bottlenecks in our internal tech stack and recommending ways to optimise system workflows. - Ad Hoc Technical Support:
Delivering insightful, tailored technical support and troubleshooting to address unique, complex system and operational challenges.
- Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or equivalent practical/bootcamp experience. - Experience
: 1-3 years experience in QA testing, technical support, or software system configuration. Strong tech‑savvy candidates with hands‑on experience in workflow tools or system testing during their studies/internships will also be considered. - Core Expertise
: A proven background in digital system logic/testing and a deep, foundational understanding of how software platforms, databases, and digital tools integrate with one another.
