Proven experience as a Senior Linux Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, Linux Administrator, or similar infrastructure engineering role.

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu Server, Debian, or SUSE Linux.

Bash scripting skills, including automation of administrative tasks, log parsing, scheduled jobs, reporting, validation checks, and repeatable operational workflows.

Experience with orchestration and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt Stack, Terraform, or similar automation platforms.

Strong understanding of Linux networking, DNS, SSH, firewalls, package management, storage, file systems, systemd, cron, logging, and kernel-level troubleshooting.

Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, privileged access controls, and audit/compliance requirements.

Experience supporting Linux workloads in virtualised, cloud, or hybrid environments, including Azure,OCI,AWS etc.

Good understanding of monitoring, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, capacity management, and incident/problem management processes.

Familiarity with container platforms and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, or similar would be advantageous.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+, LPIC, LFCS, LFCE, or cloud/platform engineering certifications would be advantageous.
