Senior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to support a major platform transformation. You’ll join a team modernising a core solution, moving from a legacy environment to a cloud first architecture on Azure. This role is focused on building and scaling the platform that underpins our applications. You’ll design and optimise CI/CD pipelines, deliver infrastructure as code, and enable developers to deploy and operate systems more efficiently and reliably.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams, but your primary focus will be on automation, infrastructure, and deployment processes, rather than building product features. You’ll be joining at a point where the Dev Ops foundations are still evolving, so there is real opportunity to shape standards, tooling, and ways of working.

• Build and scale Dev Ops foundations, not just maintain them
• Cloud first, Azure environment with modern tooling
• High ownership across CI/CD, infrastructure, and reliability
• Work closely with engineering teams on large scale systems

• Experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential)
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered)
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Scripting or coding experience (Python, Power Shell or similar)
• Understanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices
• Comfortable working across infrastructure and development teams

• Experience supporting .NET or web based applications
• Exposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on‑prem)
• Experience with release strategies such as blue‑green or canary deployments
• Exposure to financial services or data platforms
• Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns
