We are looking for an Information Security Consultant to work remotely for a German based company. The successful consultant will have to be able to speak and understand German.
Career Operational Technology Security ConsultantWhen it comes to information security for corporate groups, data centres or hospitals, lawyers are now just as much in demand as IT specialists. This is because, alongside the technical aspects, organisational and legal considerations are playing an increasingly important role in information and data security. This presents excellent career opportunities for tech‑savvy lawyers and IT specialists with a broad skill set.
As a Senior Associate for information security, you will support the client in setting up, operating and optimising IT systems that comply with the law. You will liaise directly with our the client and provide support or carry out checks via online audits.
Regular training courses ensure that you can find the right answers to all the organisational, technical and legal questions relating to information security. For example, you can benefit from training courses in the field of ISO 27001 (native) and ISO 27001 based on the German IT‑Grundschutz (BSI‑Grundschutz). Within the first two years, the client will train you to become an ISO 27001 auditor, if you are not one already.
You will be fully integrated in the team and benefit from the teams experience and know‑how.
Start:
Immediate
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or have a degree in law and can demonstrate strong IT skills
- You are already familiar with ISO 27001 / ISO 27002
- You speak German for professional purposes
- You have a good command of English at a native speaker’s level
- You have experience in consultancy
- Programming skills, particularly in the context of automation and scripting (e.g. Power Shell, Python, LLM)
- Good knowledge of implementing AI applications within organisations and integrating IT infrastructures, IAM systems and cloud platforms
- You are willing to undertake further training to obtain the required certifications
- You enjoy working remotely
- You have a good sense of humour and are a sociable person
- You naturally demonstrate a great deal of initiative and strong teamwork skills
- You have a consistently entrepreneurial mindset
- Prior knowledge of data protection law and TISAX
