IT Technical Support Administrator

IT Technical Support Administrator required in Cape Town.

We are currently hiring a Senior Technical Support Adminitsrator for a permanent position based in Woodstock, Cape Town.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and maintenance across clients’ IT environments.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and software.
• Troubleshoot technical issues through onsite, telephone, email and remote support.
• Manage incidents through to resolution and liaise with vendors when required.
• Perform software, patch and update installations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and training to colleagues.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years’ experience with Windows 7/8/10/11 and MS Office 2016–2021.
• Experience with MacOS, Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams and N-able products.
• Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, Wi‑Fi, fibre, switches and routers.
• Knowledge of printers, antivirus, server environments and Active Directory.
• Customer service experience with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong team player with a customer‑focused approach.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• A+ and N+ certifications required; MCITP/MCTS/MCSA and Microsoft 365/Azure certifications advantageous.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
