About the job Intermediate Platform Engineer
A growing technology company is looking for an Intermediate Dev Ops / Platform Engineer to help build and scale the platform infrastructure behind modern AI-driven products. The role focuses on improving cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, reliability, and operational excellence across Kubernetes-based environments.
You will work closely with engineering, AI, and security teams to automate infrastructure, improve developer experience, and ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and highly reliable as the product grows.
Key Responsibilities
Improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud and Kubernetes environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments and reduce failure rates
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code to standardise environments and reduce configuration drift
Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
, including autoscaling and secure deployments
Improve observability, monitoring, and incident response processes
Support operational best practices including backups, patching, access control, and disaster recovery
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and production runtime issues
Contribute to reusable tooling, documentation, and platform standards
Requirements
3+ years experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
Strong experience supporting production systems and cloud infrastructure
Scripting with Python or Bash
Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI or Drone
Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi
Experience with
AWS and/or Azure
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis
, and cloud networking fundamentals
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Open Search
