Role Summary What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

Leveraging technology to enhance our Route to Market strategy is fundamental to BAT's ongoing transformation. As a member of the Information & Digital Technology (IDT) team, you'll apply your problem-solving skills, business acumen, and expertise in technology systems and processes to support the successful transformation of multiple route to market strategies across the Area. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various functions and markets, you'll be responsible for identifying the right digital solutions to meet business needs and coordinating with the delivery team to ensure implementations meet the requirements brief, all through the application of agile practices.

• Act as a Business Partner Build strong relationships by eliciting business requirements and translating them into high-quality functional specifications that are clearly communicated, understood, and deliverable by the delivery teams. Active contributing member of key business Leadership Teams.
• Optimise Processes Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing business processes and design new, streamlined, digitally-enabled processes to accelerate the speed to market of transformational objectives.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence Work closely with global centres of excellence (e.g., architects, product managers/owners, and BAU support services) to ensure approved, verified, and scalable solutions are available for implementation.
• Manage Project Delivery Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects across the Area, covering all stages of the Discovery lifecycle.
• Adopt a Dev Sec Ops  Mentality Integrate cybersecurity throughout the technical solution design.
• Apply Commercial Knowledge Utilise your understanding of the FMCG business model and current and future trade capabilities to help markets make informed decisions about technology-led digital transformation.
• Prioritise and Communicate Understand technical capabilities, limitations, costs, and risks to effectively prioritise and communicate key technology decisions with various stakeholders.
• Manage Transformation Roadmaps Collaboratively manage end markets’ Route to Market transformation roadmaps, leveraging project and portfolio management principles and practices in line with business timelines and dependencies.
• Develop Marketing Technology Roadmap Contribute to the development of the Marketing technology roadmap across the Area to ensure scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business and can be transitioned to insource models.
• Apply Lean and Agile Methodologies Use lean and agile methodologies in day-to-day operations to optimise value streams and promote faster, more efficient delivery.
