Information Systems & Data Analyst; Graduate​/Early Career

Oasis Group Holdings is looking for a high-performing, analytical and intellectually curious Information Systems & Data Analyst to join our team.

The role combines information systems analysis, data analytics, business intelligence and process improvement.

• Understanding business requirements and translating them into practical systems and information solutions
• Analysing business processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
• Working with stakeholders to understand their systems, information and reporting requirements
• Supporting the development, implementation and improvement of business systems
• Assisting with systems testing, implementation and integration
• Documenting business requirements, processes, workflows and system requirements

• Collecting, cleaning, validating and analysing data from multiple sources
• Developing management reports, dashboards and data-driven insights
• Identifying trends, patterns, relationships and anomalies within business data
• Supporting data modelling, reporting and business intelligence initiatives
• Improving data quality, consistency and accessibility
• Using data to support management decision-making and business performance analysis

• Identifying opportunities to use technology, automation and data analytics to improve business processes
• Supporting digital transformation, business intelligence and automation initiatives
• Researching and evaluating new technologies and analytical tools
• Working with different areas of the business to improve how information is captured, managed and used
• Supporting the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, where relevant to the business

We are looking for someone with a strong combination of academic ability, analytical thinking, technical aptitude, problem-solving capability and commercial curiosity.

One of the following, or an equivalent relevant qualification:

• BSc Honours in Information Systems
• BSc/BCom or equivalent qualification in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline

A Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline would be advantageous.

We are looking for a strong academic foundation and demonstrated interest or exposure in some of the following areas:

• Information systems and business analysis
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Business intelligence and reporting
• Business process analysis and optimisation
• Excel and data manipulation
• Data visualisation and dashboard development
• Database and data management concepts
• SQL
• Python, R or another analytical/programming language
• Systems implementation and testing
• Automation and emerging technologies

We are interested in candidates who have a strong foundation in either Information Systems or Statistics & Data Science, together with the intellectual curiosity and ability to develop across both disciplines.
