We’re working with an established travel business, and they’re looking for a Data Analyst to partner with the business — collecting, analysing and interpreting data to provide insights that support strategic decisions.
What you’ll do- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data products
- Collaborate across the business to tailor data-driven solutions within a standardised framework
- Explore datasets with statistical and analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends and anomalies
- Build interactive dashboards and reports (e.g. Tableau, Power BI or Qlik View)
- Generate regular reporting on KPIs and key metrics
- Translate findings into actionable insights, and run ad-hoc analysis for time-sensitive decisions
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Informatics / Information Systems, Mathematics / Statistics or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in a data-analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft SSRS, Power BI or Qlik View (or similar)
- Strong SQL (or PostgreSQL / another query language), and advanced Excel
- Experience in a retail, sales or digital-marketing environment
Hybrid, based in Cape Town — around one day a week in the office.
